Our corporate social responsibility
We take our commitment to corporate and social responsibility very seriously. One of the reasons we founded Tiro Partners is because we wanted to do things differently and make a difference, not just for our clients and our candidates, but for our team and our community. Here are just a few of the ways that we’re getting involved and giving back…
Ace of Clubs
Tiro Partners has pledged to put back into the community.
A charity close to our hearts in Clapham, where Tiro first opened its doors, is the Ace of Clubs, a homeless shelter. At various points through the year we offer our time to help the community visitors. It’s incredibly rewarding to help where we can. Please see aceofclubs.org.uk. Helping the local homeless community, the charity provides a warm meeting place where they prepare food donated by local and national food retailers (Gails, Pret) and provide emotional support and advice to help people while they get back on their feet.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to help where we can, watch these people grow and get back into society.”

Wimbledon Mini’s RFC
Tiro got involved in grass roots sponsorship at Wimbledon RFC in 2021. Sponsorship has enabled the club to improve it’s communal facilities which children of all age groups can benefit from following training and match days.
This has attracted further children to the club and further and raised the profile of the club in the surrounding area.
“During the cold winter months the ability for the club to offer a communal area the kids can use to socialise after training is essential. It enables the club with it’s fundraising activity in the form of food, drink and charity raising initiatives. During the pandemic it enabled the club to put on a vegetable stall that was widley used by the community during the lockdown”

Sutton Youth United
Tiro have sponsored Sutton United Youth for the last 5 years. It has enabled the club to offer increased training and additional kit to all the children on the team to help with player development and inclusiveness on training kits and bags that that are not covered by the season subs. They won the Surrey County Cup in 2022.
“For the Kids, we wanted to give them a sense of team unity through kit identity, training and development opportunities for all during the pandemic and cost of living crisis“

Merton Winter Night Shelter
Paul has been donating a few hours of his time every week for the last 7 years to the Night Shelter to supervise breakfast for 12 rough sleepers weekly between the start of Dec and end of January at St Winefrieds Church.
Merton Winter Night Shelter provides much needed emergency shelter, warm hospitality, and professional support to those who need it most in the coldest winter months. The last couple of years in the life of the Shelter have seen unprecedented change and challenge, as the team of community volunteers and YMCA staff worked hard to find alternative ways to run the scheme during the pandemic
“A church initiative that I decided to get involved with a number of years ago. Giving something back especially when the weather is at it’s harshest.”
