Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining their data privacy infrastructure.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust and secure DevOps infrastructure and processes.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for their product.
- Ensure the high availability and performance of our data privacy solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and infrastructure issues.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data.
- Continuously improve and optimise the DevOps pipeline for efficiency and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data privacy and DevOps.
Your skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a data privacy or security-focused role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools ideally Kubernetes or alternatively docker or Terraform.
- Scripting and automation skills with languages like Python, Shell, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with using or administering Linux environments, including troubleshooting and shell-scripting (e.g. Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The DevOps / SRE Engineer will work within a diverse and forward-thinking team, managing and developing high-performance, scalable cloud-based solutions and demonstrating their understanding of complex platforms whilst solving technical problems in an autonomous, and flexible company culture.
This role will suit a candidate who thrives working as part of a cross-functional development and cloud operation team, supporting the implementation and design of services for both internal and external users on platforms within enterprise environments using technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes and AWS.
It is essential that the DevOps / SRE Engineer has a proven track-record in continuous integration, automation, and supporting cross-platform, cross-tier architectural design, in line with defined best practice, and coding / scripting standards.
To summarise, the DevOps / SRE Engineer will ideally have experience in the following areas:
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as OpenStack, Azure and AWS
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Kubernetes
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, Bash, Django, React etc.)
- Proven experience using Linux operating systems
- Automation and CI/CD wherever possible (using tools such as Ansible, Git and Terraform)
- Experienced stakeholder engagement skills
- Thrives working independently and using initiative
