Tiro have partnered with a growing tech client who is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering team – Fully Remote in Germany on a Full Time, Permanent Basis.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial part in driving their AWS Cloud Infrastructure, working closely with the development team on their unique Agri-tech product that is connecting Geospatial data to Machine Learning.

They are running on and utilising multiple technologies like messaging queues, databases, serverless functions and docker-orchestrated services. Therefore the successful candidate for this role must have the following technical skills and experience:

  • Maintaining and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Containers / container orchestration, Docker & Kubernetes
  • Building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
  • Adopting Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Serverless environments and Messaging queues (i.e. Kafka or RabbitMQ)

This is a Fully Remote position in Germany.

My client has an urgent requirement for 2 x experienced R Developers to join a project team on an initial 6 month contract, extensions highly likely.

The successful R Developers will be working on Cashflow Models in R and Spark that is linked to an ongoing design & implementation of a new calculation engine for IFRS17 and reinsurance.

The successful R Developer will have a solid background in programming and quantitative skills within a business environment, poses an analytical mind and be able to see through large sets of data and calculations and arrive at an optimal calculation strategy.

R Developer – Python – Spark – 100% remote from EU or UK

A Project Manager is required by a market-leading international organisation based in Amsterdam. As Project Manager you will have extensive experience helping enterprise clients transition On-Prem Infrastructure and data solutions to the Cloud, and have a proven track-record working with Microsoft Azure.

Working closely with Senior stakeholders and Technical Managers across the organisation, the Project Manager will be involved in Phase One of a Cloud initiative that is set to transform our clients business.

A huge advocate of DevOps best practice and technology, our client also seeks a Project Manager who is an expert working across multidisciplinary DevOps teams and is highly familiar with related tooling such as Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure DevOps, Powershell, Azure Resource Manager, Powershell, Ansible, and Terraform etc.

There is a large focus on the implementation of their data platform and data science solutions into the Azure cloud, so knowledge of and Azure Data Solutions. Datalakes, Databricks, Data Factory, Spark, Hadoop, ML services, Cloud Data Warehouses, Kafka and Power BI / Power Platforms (or similar technologies) will be a major plus – although this is not essential.

The Project Manager will ideally have a proven history assisting blue-chip companies of 3000+ employees to move towards the Azure Cloud.

A passionate DevOps Engineer is required by a world-renowned technology company in Amsterdam. On a daily basis, the DevOps Engineer will be given the opportunity of developing high-performance, scalable cloud-based solutions and demonstrating their wizardry of IAC best-practices in an autonomous, and flexible company culture.

The DevOps Engineer will have extensive experience working as part of a cross-functional development and cloud operation team, supporting high-availability websites and platforms within enterprise environments using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.

It is essential that the DevOps Engineer has a proven track-record in continuous integration, automation, and supporting cross-platform, cross-tier architectural design, inline with defined best practice, and coding / scripting standards.

To summarise the DevOps Engineer will ideally have experience in the following areas:

  • Very familiar with cloud estates (AWS, Azure and / or OpenShift)
  • Automation wherever possible (using tools such as Ansible, Puppet and / or Chef)

  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of API layers
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux-based, GitHub and Jenkins

It would highly be advantageous if you have experience with other development principles such as automated testing, Test Driven Development, and Agile.

Experience in other open source technologies such as Memcache, Varnish, Apache, or MongoDB is desirable but not essential.

A Site Reliability Engineer is required by a market-leading scale-up in the IoT space based in fantastic offices in Central Amsterdam.

The international organisation is currently re-designing their Cloud service offering and looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to assist in the design and implementation of their innovative digital platform built on Azure Cloud Services.

The Site Reliability Engineer will be helping to not only design and build the cloud architecture and tooling, but also to play a pivotal role in increasing the efficiency of the development pipeline and containerisation best practice within the company.

You will be an expert at working closely with software engineering teams, playing a pivotal role in improving Infrastructure as Code standards using your deep knowledge of coding and Scripting.

The Site Reliability Engineer will have worked with a host of companies building cloud platforms from scratch, and improving DevOps maturity using a variety of tools including Linux, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.

A summary of skills and capabilities required for the Site Reliability Engineer position:

  • Proven track-record working as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or Cloud Engineer
