About the Role
As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier service in PC (Windows), software, network, and hardware troubleshooting. The role involves extensive travel* to medical centres and hospital across Southern Germany (Bavaria). Midweek overnight stays will be likely, and some weekend work during busy periods. Periodic travel** to other DACH regions may also be required.
*Full expense framework i.e. overtime payments, car benefit, travel/fuel and per diem /food allowance
**This is a field position covering Bavaria and will require up to 75% travel
Your responsibilities:
- Install, support, and maintain their product range.
- Conduct site surveys and provide on-site/reactive support.
- Provide scheduled maintenance and upgrade assistance, available both remotely and on-site.
- Carry out installations in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with customers and installers.
Technical skills required:
- Prior experience as a technically qualified IT Field Engineering / IT service Engineer
- Strong hardware diagnostic skills, including PC hardware (replacing PC components)
- Proficiency in Windows 10/7, O365, TCP IP Networking, and troubleshooting tools
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team.
- Experience of installing Desktops / Desktop imaging
- Previous experience with installation, troubleshooting & resolving hardware issues

Your role / responsibilities:
- Collaborate across internal teams and IT/Data team to understand the requirements and projects of their clients
- Develop and implement AI models using Computer Vision techniques to automatically detect objects, changes, and anomalies of a mapped area
