About the role:
As a GeoData Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining GeoData pipelines, conducting advanced geospatial analytics, and working closely with our partners and clients on projects related to flood risk, climate change monitoring, and other geospatial challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Develop geospatial applications and tools to meet project requirements
- Implement and maintain geospatial databases and systems
- Collaborate with GIS analysts, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate geospatial functionality into applications
Requirements:
- Fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in building GeoData pipelines and conducting geospatial analytics
- Strong proficiency in geospatial tools and technologies, including GIS software and programming languages (e.g. Python)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Passionate about leveraging geospatial data to address real-world challenges
