Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager

An Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager is required by a market leading consultancy based in Utrecht. As the Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager you will provide full-service cyber and risk management expertise to a range of projects covering all areas of assessment, protection, and compliance.

As the Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager you will have an extensive background in information security and be able contribute to the strategic direction of Risk Management across numerous change initiatives by ensuring all risk management frameworks are established and appropriately identified, developed and monitored.

The Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager will possess a deep understanding of Cyber Security concepts and principles, and be able to ensure risk profiles are created and reported to the senior leadership team, reviewing, advising and managing all risk reviews and impact reports on a regular basis.

The Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager must have a proven track-record in client facing positions with the ability to present and offer advice in a clear and concise manner in layman’s terms.

Please note the client can offer remote working alongside time in their Utrecht office, although travel to the office will be required at least once per week.

To summarise, the Information & Cyber Security Risk Manager will have skills in the following areas:

• Extensive knowledge of Risk Management
• Strong understanding of information security and cyber security best practice and principles
• Comparable experience or educational background in advanced level of risk strategy and risk framework competency
• Good experience collaborating across programs in the identification, quantification, management and reporting of controls in security governance, risk management, and internal control environments
• Strong Project / Product Management skills
• Ability to drive continuous improvement
• Strong planning and preparation skills
• Excellent analysis and reporting capability
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and community management skills
• It is also highly desirable that you are a strong communicator and that you are able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
